About Where I Live

England as you know has a lot of history. For example, the church which you see on Beckenham main street is very old:
"The most notable of these is the 14th century St Georges Church with its 13th century Lychgate - the oldest in England. "

Or as the same website notes, not only is this town old (I've seen a banner for an annual farmers market that dates back to 1200 and something), but some famous folk are in the area. David Bowie lived in Beckenham, Charles Darwin's house is not too far of a drive a way, but most importantly the man who invented the toilet bowl is buried locally. Can you guess his name?

Thomas Crapper (inventor of the flush toilet)

Here is the link for the creepy Hotel and Manor left over, he used to own eden park train station, his private entrance still exists:

Yeah so there is some history round these parts. Its the suburbs. And I am Yuppie scum...
I hear the calling of silence and peace, the turbulence is winding down for me, let the renaissance begin.
