Spitzer

The market goes up, the market goes down. When the market is about to go up, the media begins publishing loud, ranting articles from talking heads, like that on CNBC saying can the recession get any worse. At this point, expect the market to turn around.
As the market improves, the articles begin to change. You start reading about fancy cars, what the rich are doing, and how the wall street types are getting into whatever it celebrities are doing, maybe california wines are big, or the new generation is now drinking gin martinnis again.
As the market continues its upwards climb the media will then shift gears, asking how long can it last, recession just around the corner. This will continue for the next few years, until a recession begins again. As the signs are obvious the drumbeat about Americans spending less and new laws being proposed to control something that already happened, ie. the 90's IPO boom, Enron scandal, and today Mortgage/Liquidity crisis. Only to wash and repeat.
Spitzer came to power at the height of enron and at the top of a rising market. He lambashed what everyone knew was the entire capitalist corruption and wagged his finger. But those in power would only let so much regulation come in, because they rant and rave that a perfect market lacks any law. This is bannanas, the lack of any law means that there is no good or bad way to do business. Look at Russia, when will we admit that all levels of our lives and jobs are pyramid schemes. Those at the top work less than those at the bottom, most are fools who are too dumb and take risks that smart people would not. Look at the type who run for presidency, only to let these very fools make the worst kind of decisions that affect millions.
This is propped up by an increasing ignorant population, the fact that most humans are unintelligent is epitomized by anyones memory of school, to think these people change when they become adults is wrong. Its the same idiots. Few smart people, few corrupt, and the bulk of the class is stupid. That is how the business world is, the govt is, and how all of history has been.
The world will never be wonderful, fair, or decent, because the majority is doomed to be uneducated, uncaring, and unable to control anything.
One rotten apple will always ruin it, just as one hero can make things better, over time they cancel each other out and we are left the with the dumb masses. We live irrationally, look at our population on this planet, you just can not keep having kids forever, you will run out of space and resources, but we plug away with religious people having 12 kids. Or look at arabs who live in desserts, they got there because somewhere their ancestors were so dumb they set up and camp and though yup, inhabitable dessert, great spot to live. Or Vegas, great spot for a city, no water, but of course we can pump that in from somewhere else, until they turn that very place into a dessert.
The problem is of good and evil. However, the very definitions are always changing and cultural. Illicit sex is not a big deal for the French, but very evil for a Muslim nation or the US and its protestant back ground. So for Spitzer, sex with a prostitute is very evil. Sending soldiers on a needless war, to die and ruin millions of lives, that seems acceptable. In other words, gay people only hurt the ass of the one they love. Spitzer only hurt his wife, family and the state of New York. George Bush, he made all our lives worse, but the majority of red necks and brainwashed Americans will defend him to the last.
One of things I have seen in the UK is football culture. Sure as a Yankee fan I hate boston, its like acting, its fun, but I would never act on it. In the UK though, these fans really do hate each other and fight, just because one person wheres a red jersey and the other a blue jersey. People will always fight, because we are animals, we shit, fart, piss, eat and have sexual urges.
Each day is the same. You wake up, and act out the same thing over and over with minor changes. Those changes impact your next day. Work hard Monday, pay check on Friday. Wander from your marriage Tuesday, and end up divorced next Thursday. Its a cycle.
We can not live the same day, we need change, its built into us. Conservatives deny this and we build complicated theories and explanations that become so intricate they fall right off the point.
Look at a justice system, its the only way to explain how someone who smokes pot can get more time in jail then serial house robbers. The pot head, only hurt himself, and he is punished to help Himself get off drugs, so they ruin his life to save it. The robber ruins and innocents persons life, over and over again, but fails to be reprimanded because once a real criminal is created we have no way of rehabilitating.
The fall of mankind is its denial of reality, truth, facts, and faith. Faith is the denial of truth, which is why acting on faith will never work. To believe you can walk on water, will only let you drown. To know that you will drown walking on water, will make you not walk on water and alive the next day. To act on religion which all have been clearly disproved, yet the majority of humans continue to lie.
In truth, the only way to live is pleasure, balance, and doing the best you can. Were the palestinians to be organized to build homes, paint their rooms, and harvest, they would be fine. To continue to build bombs and fight, leads them to their own poverty. Like a North Korea, where the population is ruined by one man.
To be honest, life is in our minds, no one admits this, but when I die, the truth really is, this existence, this world is no more. At no point do people consider life before being born, and that is your answer to life after death. Its nothing, but at any point, you could come back into an existence, and science is showing more and more about the world, time, space, that there are multiple realities, life does not need a creator, we always will be.
When you look at a colony of ants, they look quite the same, some die, to think they go on to a happy ant heaven is ridicoulous, the same can be said of people.
There is no happiness, there is only existence. A perfect heaven would get very boring after a while, but is there infinite experience? Probably not, its just very very vast, and that by forgetting can allow us to go on experiencing as much as we want forever.
This is why if you take shrooms, things melt, change and your mind transports you elsewhere, same with dreams, because our minds shape this reality.
The Yin Yang is correct, you have to have Three.
One is you, One has to be the outside world and you can call that god, though it acts not like what people thing of as god, it just is, your opposite. And Three is the merging of the two.
Everything can be broken down to this. You can not have evil, without good, and on a normal day we are all in the middle.
You can not have cold without hot, life without death, start without finish, and in the middle is existence.
So maybe there is nothing to fear, maybe we can take comfort in knowing that the journey happens all the time, we just need to live with it, and try to make the best happen for all. Until that is realized, existences will be less pleasurable, until at some point, we will reach happiness and accept that all is possible and for the taking, but I can not be sure until I finally die, which of course must happen, the worst is nothing, the best is the next thing, but maybe we end up somewhere else with some memory.
I can not say I remember 1978, being born, I know I was there, same as last Monday. I have memories, and I know who I am, but each day is new. That is what death will be, you may not remember it all, but maybe a few bits and pieces remain, or maybe the point is completely starting fresh, like a new day.
